Yaletown A Class Buildings

When Vancouver's elite and the international super rich are searching for A Class buildings in Yaletown there are certain criteria that cannot be challenged. Although their tastes and wish list items vary as much as their personal backgrounds, there are certain items that are never compromised. Items such as; construction and finish quality, demographic of residents, number of units per address, location, services, amenities, lobby and common area presentation, overall general feel coupled with other intangible items that come with an accustomed lifestyle.

However, from a strictly empirical stand point comparing the average city assessed value is strong indication of the building level. Case in point compare the average assessed values of these two buildings located across the street from each other. Both were built by Concord Pacific within a few years of each other, have similar views, and access to similar amenities.

 - Kings Landing at 428 Beach Crescent, average city assessed value as of May 1, 2012 $2,547,181.

 - Parkwest at 455 Beach Crescent, average city assessed value as of May 1, 2012 $865,055.

The assessed values alone suggest that these buildings are in completely separate classes.
